I have a week left in Cambodia before we head to Thailand for a week and then to South Africa for two months. Saying goodbye is going to be hard. I did not expect to fall in love with this country as much as I have, and I will be leaving with a heart full of gratitude towards the Father for allowing me to come here and be a part of his work at Victory Church Cambodia. I couldn’t be more thankful for the people, places and lessons this place has given me. Even with everything that has been going on, I can still sit with a heart posture of thankfulness. I am learning daily about how grief, morning and lament exist with peace, joy and hope.

HUGE PHOTO DUMP FROM MY TIME IN CAMBODIA!!!!!

Photos from Tapouk Village that we got to go to every Sunday and Wednesday. We got to build relationships with so many kids, youth and older women. We got to encourage them in their faith as they did the same for us.

Pictures from our week in Battambong with Pastor Gette and Mary who are starting Victory Church in Battambong!

Pictures from my team getting to teach at universities about American culture and personality development. We got to build some relationships through this ministry and invite them to events and church.

Pictures from the school we taught the bible and english at twice a week. These kids got to hear the gospel every week and got invited to church. We saw salvation here!!!!!!!!

Living in Cambodia has been so so sweet and eye opening. There’s a whole world out there!! I love you Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Christmas in Cambodia with my squad was definitely different but something that taught me so much. Forever thankful for the birth of Jesus and getting to celebrate it with these people and in this place. The third picture is me and Libby celebrating her 19th birthday!! The last pic is team Bethesda at a wedding!! We got ourselves invited to one of our Pastor’s friend’s wedding! It was so fun and Christ centered.

That’s all for now, thanks for reading and praying. I hope you know how thankful I am for all of you. The lord is working in myself, my team, my squad and IN CAMBODIA!!! It’s been an honor to come along Victory Cambodia with Pastor Ralph and Jane and help them. We are seeing revival come. Praise God.

  1. I love all these pictures so much Lex! Helps to get a real glimpse into your ministry there. Love seeing God use your team to share the gospel, love on people and the extra benefit of you and your teammates growing in the Lord as well. Love you, mom
